The Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC) is a world-renowned leader in mineral processing science and technology. For over 45 years it has delivered innovative solutions to the Minerals Industry across a range of commodities.

The JKMRC's activities include research, training of postgraduate students and delivery of specialised undergraduate courses. It also contributes specialist expertise to the consulting and professional development activities of JKTech Pty Ltd.

Research and graduate training programs deal with issues in exploration, comminution, separation and flotation. Core competancies include:

• Particle, ore and drill-hole core characterisation
• Process modelling, simulation and optimisation
