JKMRC Technical Services support research projects and JKTech laboratory services. The facilities comprise a Pilot Plant, manufacturing Workshop and instrument laboratory. The Technical Services facilities allow pilot scale testing of process models and process improvements.
In addition to the development of pilot scale and prototype equipment manufacture and testing, Technical Services support the following Laboratory testing services:
- Drop weight testing
- SMC testing
- Bond work index
- HPGR tests
- Cyclone testwork
- Flotation cell testwork
- General processing testing (magnetics, electrostatic, gravity)
- Sieve, laser and cyclo-sizing
